NBC's LX is Going Dark

This is one of those things that you’re surprised it lasted as long as it did.

NBC’s parent company Comcast announced that they are shutting down the lifestyle channel NBC LX.

NBC LX launched in 2020, and while it expanded its reach, it never really gained traction with viewers.

Shortly after its launch, FTVLive said to give it two years, and it will be gone.

It made it three.

There will be job losses due to LX going dark. NBC is telling employees that they might be able to land jobs elsewhere in the company, but a number of them are expected to lose their job.
