When The Anchor is Stuck In Traffic

Viewers tuning into Sunday evening’s newscast on Sinclair’s KSNV (Las Vegas) might have thought Sinclair was making more cuts.

The News Anchor that started the newscast was actually KSNV Sports Director Bryan Salmond.

So, why was the sports guy anchoring the news?

Because news anchor Marie Mortera was “stuck in traffic.”

Does this mean that the station’s weekend anchor just rolls in before the newscast starts and sits down at the anchor desk?
