In 38 years of TV news, you would have thought WCVB (Boston) would have least used longtime Anchor Bob Halloran’s face on a billboard.

But it never happened.

Now Halloran is winding down his career, and he finally got his face on a billboard. But don’t thank the station, thank Bob’s wife Eileen.

As Bob signed off, Eileen made his dream come true.
