After his time in Columbia, Price moved to Montgomery, Alabama, to help launch WNCF-TV, where he served as the weekend anchor and political reporter. He eventually made his way to WHO 13 in Des Moines, Iowa, where he has spent the past 22 years as a key member of the news team.

During his time at WHO 13, Price has held several important roles, including political director, managing editor, and Sunday evening news anchor. He has also hosted and executive produced the Sunday community affairs show "The Insiders," which has become a popular fixture on the station.
