Why I Don't Believe Him
/Before Fox News settled its case with Dominion, they had muzzled their media critic Howard Kurtz.
Kurtz was not allowed to talk about the case.
Fox News recently took Kurtz’s muzzle off and now they said they were even going to let him cover the trial.
Of course, maybe that was because Fox knew that were close to a settlement when they told Kurtz he could cover it.
Kurtz claimed he would be “fair and balanced,” saying:
“The trial on the high-profile Dominion Voting Systems lawsuit against FOX begins tomorrow in Delaware and let’s face it, much of the mainstream media is rather openly rooting for FOX to lose.
I can assure you that I will provide fair and down-the-middle coverage of this $1.6 billion suit about coverage of false election fraud claims in 2020, despite the fact that I work here.”
I say bullshit.
Howard Kurtz will always down for Fox News. Also, saying that the “mainstream media is rather openly rooting for FOX to lose” is also bullshit.
I haven’t heard the “mainstream media” rooting for that. Maybe a couple of cable news hosts, but that’s about it.
Also, Fox News is the No. 1 cable news station by a lot, so aren’t they, in fact, “mainstream media themselves.”
Kurtz uses the term “mainstream media” more than anyone else I have heard. What he really means Is CNN and MSNBC. I hate to break it to you Howie, the media world is much bigger than that.
How lames was Kurt’s coverage of the trial and settlement?
After Fox News settled the case, Kurtz didn’t post a “breaking” tweet, and an hour after the settlement was reached, he’s posting a link to his podcast and nothing about Fox folding like a lawn chair to Dominion.
So much for fair and balanced there Howie.
