Nexstar Reporter Resigns After Boss Reprimanded Him

Lee Hedgepeth was a Reporter for Nexstar’s WIAT in Birmingham.
He resigned his position after he said that management at the station reprimanded him for publishing an unedited clip of Alabama's AG reacting to video of Anthony Mitchell, a Walker County man, being placed, motionless, into a police vehicle.
He’s his side of the story from his social media.
That surveillance video contradicts a previous police statement that Mitchell was "alert and conscious" when he left the facility. In my view, the AG's reaction, which included saying Mitchell may be "posturing," was clearly newsworthy. News management disagreed. (3) pic.twitter.com/kV4b14cTfR
