It appears that Jillian Mele has left ABC O&O WPVI. Her bio is gone from the website and checking her Twitter you see this:
No idea what happened there or what’s next?
Over at KYW, a familiar last name has appeared and it brings up old memories. Niki Demetri has joined KYW as a Reporter.
Her dad, Vince Demetri used to work at NBC’s WCAU and left the market under a cloud of controversies.
He last appeared on FTVLive back in 2015, where he dropped all the way down to the Springfield, IL market, where it did not end well.
Hopefully, Niki’s ride in Philly TV news goes much smoother.
