Sinclair Continues to Cut

Sinclair has gassed up the pink-slip express and drove it to WPMI in Mobile and gutted the place.

The morning and midday newscasts have been canceled.

They also sent the News Director at WEAR (same market) to the curb as well. Cuts were also made at WEAR-TV.

Sinclair’s sports channel, Diamond Sports has filed for bankruptcy and it appears that Sinclair itself is having money issues.

The problem is, when a company feels the need to make cuts, it doesn’t cut the leaders that put the company in this position, it cuts the workers.

Colin Cahill used to work at WPMI, and he posted about the cuts and what it was like working for that station.
