When a viewer decided to follow your station’s news department on social media, they are doing so to stay informed.

When I see stuff like Hearst-owned WAPT (Jackson, Mississippi) whoring out social media to sell crap, I just shake my head.

I’m sorry, I thought Hearst was better than that.

I guess not.
