Miami Station Hit By Ransomware Attack

Sources in Miami tell FTVLive that WSVN has been hit with a ransomware attack.

A Google search shows that SoFlo station has done many stories on companies being hit by ransomware attacks. Now, it appears that WSVN is the victim of such an attack.

Watching their newscasts, it seems it is full of straight packages tossed to by the anchors on a two-shot with no graphics.

A source tells FTVLive that it’s been like this since late last week. Typewriters are being used again in the newsroom.

WSVN has not paid the ransom that is being asked for by hackers.
