The Punching Reporter is Heading Back to Milwaukee

People often ask me after they screw up, if their career in TV news is finished?

The answer is no.

I used to say that TV news is a hard business to get into, but it is almost impossible to be thrown out of.

That statement is no longer true, since TV news is not all that hard to get into any longer.

You see people that are arrested, or fired, or just a plain screw-up lose their job at one station and somehow get hired at another.

He is a recent example.

Remember back in 2018, when FTVLive first told you that WITI Reporter A.J. Bayatpour got into a fight with WTMJ Reporter Ben Jordan at a Milwaukee Brewers baseball game?

Bayatpour pled guilty to punching Jordan in the face.

Well, guess who just got hired again in Milwaukee?

Like I said, you can screw up and there is someone in this busi9ness that will still hire you.
