You might remember late last week, FTVLive told you that NBC O&O KNTV (San Jose) was in violation of California pay transparency law SB 1162 with at least three job postings that we came across.
The law states that you must post the salary range in the job posting, which KNTV did not do.
Just a couple of hours after FTVLive posted our story, the job postings were updated with the salary information.
You might think that NBC would have dropped us an email to thank us for pointing out this omission. But, you would be wrong, we never heard a word from the Peacock.
No good deed goes unpunished.
By the way, Allen Media’s KHSL (Chico) is also in violation of California law when it comes to salary information.
