WLNE has parted ways with News Director Allison Gaito.

She didn’t make it a year at the Standard General station wjich she joined last March.

She joined WLNE from KTRK in Houston where she was an EP. At the time of her hiring Gaito said, ”After six years where ‘everything is bigger,’ I’m truly excited to return to the Biggest Little and Southeastern Massachusetts,” Gaito said. “People here love the news. They tune in, they inform themselves, and then they turn around and participate in their communities – and that’s refreshing. We’re (ABC 6) here to keep community leaders honest, the conversation factual, and tell the stories that matter most in our area.”

Insiders tell FTVLive that appeared to be over her head when it came to trying to bring the last place station out of the basement.
