Earlier, FTVLive told you about a shooting in the Orlando area that involved the news media.

The Orange County Sheriff is holding a press conference right now and has informed the public that a Journalist from Spectrum 13 News in Orlando was killed.

The news crew was in the area covering the story of a murder that happened earlier in the day.

That is when the second shooting happened and the Sheriff believes it is the same shooter from the earlier murder.

Word is that the suspect ambushed the News 13 crew, one of the Journalists has died, and the other is at the hospital.

Spectrum News 13 is not currently releasing the names of the crew members involved in the shooting.

The suspect in the murders is in custody.

FTVLive knows the identity of the Reporter that was killed. We will hold off on releasing his name at this time. We want to make sure the family and friends are notified first. We are in no rush to name any names.
