Tulsa News Director to Retire

KOKI News Director Frank Volpicella announced to his staff a short time ago that he has decided to not renew his deal and is looking to give retirement a try.

Volpicella was the longtime ND at KVUE in Austin before he was pushed out with a Tegna buyout.

He then went to WGCL in Atlanta and then moved to Tulsa.

He has told people that he wants to give retirement a try and if that doesn’t go as planned, he may look to get back into the game.

His last day at the station is March 3rd.
