Nexstar, Gray See Revenue Declines

Nexstar and Gray reported their 3rd quarter earnings and it wasn’t good news for the shareholders.

Nexstar reported a nearly 11% drop in earnings over last year. Gray saw earnings drop 12% over 2022.

Despite the loss, Uncle Perry is still optimistic about the future of Nexstar, “We have a clear set of objectives for creating the greatest long-term value for our shareholders and will continue to deploy cash in a manner that will deliver the highest returns.”

Wouldn’t it be nice if he cared about the employees as mush as he does the shareholders?

As for Gray, all they see is roses as well, ““We are particularly pleased with the performance of our television stations during the quarter, whose core advertising revenue increased 1% on a year-over-year basis.”
