Texas Anchor Back On the Air After Arrest

In mid-October, FTVLive told you (Patron Only) that police had arrested KWTX (Waco) Anchor Lauren Westbrook (Byrd) on Friday. The Anchor was charged with DUI and having an open container.

Jail records show that she was booked on 10/13 and bonded out on a $1000 cash bond.

A couple of days ago, Westbrook resurfaced on the Gray station and did not mention her arrest.

Westbrook made it sound like she was working on some stories behind the scenes during her off time.

So much for transparency.
