Former ABC News Correspondent Jim Avila announced on social media that he is getting back into TV news.

The former ABC newsman has joined Scripps-owned KGTV in San Diego as Senior Investigative Reporter.

No word if Avila will be an MMJ lugging his gear around, or if Scripps will assign him a Photographer.
