The Cuomo Experiment is Dying at News Nation

When Chris Cuomo was fired from CNN, it was a good bet that most media companies had no interest in the disgraced host.

But Nexstar thought that Cuomo was the answer to their little-watched News Nation.

It has been a year for Fredo at News Nation, and we thought we would look at his ratings.

It’s not good.

Cumo is pulling less in total viewers than Fox News, MSNBC, and CNN are doing in the demos.

Fredo is averaging 137K in total viewers. Fox News is pulling in 2.4 million, MSNBC is averaging 1.4 million, and struggling CNN is pulling in 741K.

Cuomo’s show is pulling a very low 22K in the demo. To put that into perspective, Fox News beats that demo number by more than 200K.

Nexstar might have thought that Cuomo was the answer, but viewers have shown he’s clearly not.
