LA Station Quietly Makes an Edit

It happened during some cross-talk as the station did a story on a bill signed by Newsom that allows cities and counties to ban the use of artificial grass. Some believe that the turf has cancer-causing chemicals.
Jimenez chimed in, saying, "follow the money" and accusing Gov. Gavin Newsom of accepting bribes. "If Newsom isn't getting any (money) he's probably not for it," Jimenez said.

But after we posted the story, KTLA went back and edited the clip to take out Jimenez’s comments about Newsom. There was no mention of the edit, and KTLA did not post any update to the story, mentioning the fact that they made the change.
It’s like it never happened.
Hmmmmmm?
