Is It Off?

Back in May, WPVI (Philly) made a big deal about Reporter Katie Katro getting engaged while in Paris.

The ABC O&O did a story on her engagement and Katro posted about the big day on her social media.

Just a few days ago, Katro posted about speaking to a local school.

But if you look at her hand, that blinged out engagement ring is not on her finger. One source tells FTVLive that the wedding is off, along with the ring.

If that’s the case, why hasn’t WPVI covered the story of the broken-off engagement? The station thought it was a story when she got engaged; shouldn’t they follow up with a new story about the broken engagement?

Maybe a better plan would be to stop wasting viewers’ time with the engagement stories to begin with.
