Hanging It Up in O-Town... *

fter nearly four decades on the air, longtime WFTV reporter Todd Ulrich has announced his retirement from the TV news station. Ulrich began his career at TV stations in Pennsylvania and New York before joining WFTV in 1984. While he worked occasionally as an anchor and general reporter, he is best known to WFTV viewers as the leader of the consumer affairs division.

Through this role, Ulrich has worked to alert locals to scams, shady businesses, and other issues that could impact their daily lives. Despite his retirement, Ulrich plans to remain passionate about consumer affairs and hopes that his reports over the years have made a lasting impact on viewers.

"We've helped a few hundred consumers every month find their voice and attempted to resolve their issues," Ulrich said. "By telling their stories and successes we helped so many other families avoid the same mistakes and scams."

As he looks back on his career, Ulrich hopes to be remembered for helping to make WFTV viewers "better consumers." While he may be retiring from his on-air role, it's clear that Ulrich's dedication to consumer affairs will continue to shape his future endeavors.
