Last week, FTVLive told you that WXVT Anchor Marvin Parker Jr. took time out of giving the newscast to say that he is working his last week at the station.

FTVLive wrote, “Parker told viewers that he is moving on after two years at the Mississippi station. He also gave his goodbye just as the newscast was starting. It was a long goodbye for a guy that will be back on TV this week and anchoring again next weekend. Usually, people wait until it is their last newscast before they say goodbye.”

Well, guess what?

It appears that after his antics the week before, the station did not let Parker anchor what was supposed to be his last newscast.

And when the Weather guy tried to say something about it, they cut his mic.
