WFOR Anchor/Reporter Karli Barnett posted on her social media that she is leaving the CBS O&O, after some “prayerful consideration.”

We talked to two people in Miami and neither one knew who Karli Barnett was.

We found her personal website in which she says, “Long before I was a journalist, I grew up doing acting. My parents put me into theater classes after recognizing my tendency to reenact every part of every movie I watched. Acting was a great way to develop my presentation skills and overcome a bit of my childhood shyness.”

She also says that she was nominated for her first Emmy while working in Miami.

She has not said what she is going to do next, other than hanging out with her family for a bit.
