Anchor Arrested Shortly After the Newscast

This is a bit creepy, to say the least…

Cops clamped the cuff on WDHN Weather Anchor Andrew Alexander Clarke, charging him with 2nd-degree Stalking.

Clarke was booked in the Dothan City Jail at 11:07 PM Saturday, just about a half hour after he appeared on the station’s 10 pm newscast.

“Officers received a complaint from the alleged victim that Mr. Clarke had repeatedly followed her from her place of employment, and she obtained a warrant for his arrest,” said Dothan Police Major Will Glover.

Reading between the lines on this one, I would guess that he was following a co-worker.

Clarke has been at the Nexstar station since the summer of 2021.
