Bouncing Out of the Mouse House

ABC News is losing a big one.

ABC News chief White House correspondent Cecilia Vega is leaving the Disney-owned network and heading over to CBS News.

CBS News announced that Vega will be a correspondent for 60 Minutes.

“Cecilia Vega is a sensational reporter and storyteller,” said 60 Minutes EP Bill Owens. “I have admired her work for a long, long time and couldn’t be more excited to welcome her to 60 Minutes. Her new colleagues couldn’t agree more.”

“This is a dream come true. I am beyond honored to join the ranks of this legendary show and to work alongside the best reporters in journalism,” Vega said.

She will begin reporting for 60 Minutes in the Spring.
