ToldJa!

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Nexstar was no longer allowing their stations to stream live newscasts.

As FTVLive told you, Nexstar has now told their stations that any stream of the newscast must be delayed by at least 2 hours.

Nexstar made a deal with cable, satellite, and telco partners to no longer stream live newscasts.

While Nexstar CEO Perry Sook has claimed that his company is “digital first”, obviously, that is not the case.

WOOD-TV (Grand Rapids) posted a story on their website about the new policy and tried to make it sound like a positive thing that was happening.

When you are delaying important news to your viewers by up to two hours, that is not a positive.

This was done all for money and not in the best interest of viewers.

Shame on Nexstar for putting greed before viewers.
