Back on September 13th, FTVLive told you that former ABC News Anchor Elizabeth Vargas was going to do fill in work on Nexstar’s struggling cable news channel News Nation.

In that story FTVLive wrote, “it appears that this is a trail run and we could see Vargas more often on the little-watched cable news channel."

Well, guess what?

Nexstar announced that Vargas will be hosting a new show on NN called “Elizabeth Vargas Reports” (they must have worked weeks coming up with that title.

The hour-long weekday news program debuting April 3 at 6 p.m.
