New Plywood in Arizona

Just in time for the Fall TV season, Scripps KNXV has taken the wraps off a new news set.

Everytime I see a station unveil a new set, I think back to what a guy said to me early on in my TV career.

“You have a plastic cutout of the city skyline, with a plastic desk in front and two people with plastic hair sitting at the desk, telling me the news.” he would say, “but they tell us to be authentic,” he would add.

Anyway, I sure the new news set will be worth at least a 10 point bump in the ratings.
