A News Director Opening in Phoenix

I saw on LinkedIn that Tegna’s KPNX is looking for a new News Director.

It appears that George Davilas is gone from the station after 6 plus years. His Twitter account has been deleted.

Davilas was known for putting his name on Emmy submissions. listing himself as a “Producer.”

Now, he’s gone and we don’t know where he is headed.

But, at least he can add “Emmy Award Winner” to his resume, so he’s got that going for him.
