KTLA GM Makes Weekend Visit to the Newsroom
/Sources at KTLA tell FTVLive that after the fiasco on Saturday, in which the station suspended Mark Mester for speaking out about how the Nexstar station botched the Lynette Romero situation, KTLA GM Janene Drafs made a Sunday morning visit to the station.
Sources tell FTVLive that Drafs spoke to the weekend crew., telling them they did well on Saturday during a very strange situation.
Drafs told the crew that it was a 1000% Romero wanting to leave and that Drafs wasn't gonna stand in the way of her dream job.
Although I don’t think anyone had an issue with that, it was all about how the station and management treated her exit.
Drafs told the crew that the station would be able to move on and move forward after Romero and then she made some football analogy comparing Russell Wilson in Seattle... that people cheer the jersey.
She then told the staff she brought breakfast burritos and to enjoy.
I think this situation is not going to be solved by burritos, but okay.
