Flying Solo in Sin City

Every since KTNV (Las Vegas, Scripps) evening anchor Dave Courvoisier retired in July 2022, his co-anchor, Tricia Kean, has been doing solo anchoring of the hour-long 5 PM/6 PM; and the 35 minutes 11 PM, newscasts.

As far as we can tell, no one has co-anchored the KTNV newscasts with Tricia since Courvoiser retired.

While solo anchors are still seen on weekends on some stations, it is rare to have anchor solo during the weekdays.

Of course, it is a big money saver.
