Anchor Withdraws Lawsuit

Back in August, FTVLive told you that WLKY (Louisville) Sports Director Fred Cowgill was suing a local high school after an accident on the sidelines of a football game that left him injured in 2021.
Many people did not think that Cowgill’s lawsuit held much water and it appears that after thinking about it, the Sports Anchor agrees.
According to the station, Cowgill has now withdrawn his lawsuit against Trinity High School.
WLKY's statement did not include a reason behind the withdrawl, and the TV station was not a party involved in the lawsuit.
Sounds like a smart move to us.
