Rehashing Old News in DC

Tegna’s WUSA (DC) went to a local break during Monday’s CBS Mornings.

But, for viewers that were looking for the latest news and forecast, they were sorely disappointed.

What the Tegna station ran (screenshot above) was an old report from April that touted the Cherry Blossom Festival Parade and a “chilly” 50-55 degrees.

The entire report aired followed several seconds of dead air. Even the scroll at the bottom of the screen was old.

So, either WUSA badly screwed up, or Tegna CEO Dave Lougee has gotten in touch with Doc and Marty and is now time traveling.
