Back to the Future in Scranton

Tegna’s WNEP is getting set to launch a new streaming channel and it’s kind of a smart move.

The station is digitizing old newscasts from decades ago and will be posting them on YouTube.

Many people enjoy taking a trip down memory lane and WNEP is going to offer that up. They will also be making money on the clicks.

It’s a smart move and one that really works in the Northeast where viewers have been loyal to certain stations for generations.

I personally would love to watch old newscasts featuring Irv, Rick, and Tom back in the day on WKBW in Buffalo.
