WTMJ (Milwaukee) claims that ever since he was a little kid growing up in the Milwaukee area, Brian Niznansky dream has been to be the Chief Meteorologist at WTMJ.

This week, that dream came true.

Niznansky had been working the morning show, but with the promotion he moves to the evening newscasts.

"I'm really excited about the future of the Storm Team 4 as an entire weather team. We have extremely smart and talented Meteorologists to once again lead the weather coverage in Milwaukee," said Niznansky.

“Once again”?

Does that mean there wasn’t smart and talented people before?

He takes over for Brian Gotter who has decided to take a job outside of TV news.

Gotter will stay on until the Fall, Niznansky will take over the Chief role beginning on October 3.
