Let's Nitpick a Bit

WWBT (Richmond) Candice Smith sent out this tweet with a screen grab of her from the newscast.

Here’s where we feel the need to nitpick. Smith’s post welcomes back Richmond, Henrico, and Petersburg public schools.

But, on the bus in the background behind her, it has a photo of an Albemarle County Public Schools school bus.

Not only is Albemarle County not in the Richmond DMA (it’s in Charlottesville) but Albemarle Schools went back to school last week.

Why is a market like Richmond using a photo of a school bus for a county that has never been in its DMA?
