I Agree 100% With This Hearst Station

As someone that lives here in Florida, I wish that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would be here in the state helping fix a large number of issues.

But alas, he was not.

DeSantis was in Pittsburgh campaigning for Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano. Mastriano is running for Pennsylvania Governor.

Hearst-owned WTAE (Pittsburgh) wanted to cover the event put on by Turning Point Action, but they did not.

Why?

WTAE Anchor Andrew Stockey explained in a social media post.

I agree 100% with the station's decision and any other station that stands its ground.

Politicians might control the message in places like China and Russia, but for now, we still have freedom of the press.
