Bribing the Viewers

You would hope that TV stations try to bring in viewers by doing good, solid journalism and investigative stories.

But, some stations think it is easier to get viewers if you just bribe them.

A number of staffers at The Firm’s WOFL (Orlando) have been getting raises of 2% or less, and our told there is just no more money in the budget.

So, it is a bit surprising to see that for most of August, which we should point out is not a sweeps month, the Fox O&O is poised to hand out thousands of dollars to viewers.

One insider says to FTVLive simply, “employees are pissed.”

I can’t say that I blame them.
