KTLA Weekend Morning News Anchor Dayna Devon is leaving her role, but she is not leaving the station.

Devon said she’s stepping away from full-time reporting to focus on her family and enjoy the remaining teenage years of her two children.

“My daughter is turning 17 at the end of September, and I’ve missed seeing my kids so much,” Devon said. “They work so hard during the week, and we don’t get to see a lot of them. And I only have a year left with her before she leaves and two years left with my son.”

But, she will still be on the air at the Nexstar station.

Devon will be working on KTLA’s primetime show, LA Unscripted.

“LA Unscripted has really taken off and grown by leaps and bounds, so I’m going to be doing that five days a week,” she said.
