That's Enough Time with the Family

WSYX/WTTE morning anchor and weekend meteorologist Phil Kelly announced back in January that he was leaving the station to spend more time with his family.

As David Letterman once said, when you decide to leave to spend more time with your family, you should check with your family first.

The station announced that Kelly is returning to the air at the Sinclair station in Columbus.

Kelly took to social media to say that he will be working at more "family friendly," as he will host "Good Morning Columbus," Monday through Friday and do the weather on Channel 6 at noon. The Columbus native's first show back on the air will be Aug. 22.
