For some people, it is a big thrill to work in TV news in the town where they grew up.

Liz Bateson is getting to see just what that feels like.

Bateson spent the past 5 years at WITN in Greenville, North Carolina.

But she has now started a new job at WJAR in Providence and she is thrilled.
