Remember when Donald Trump said that only guilty people take the 5th amendment?

Here’s a reminder of Trump talking about those that take the 5th.

Well, you might have heard that Trump sat for a deposition with New York Attorney General Letitia James' office on Wednesday and guess what?

He invoke the Fifth Amendment.

So, clearly he is guilty, right? Or he is a mobster, since he said only the mob takes the 5th.

But, now Trump is moving the goal posts and blaming what else “the fake news media.”

After showing up to the deposition, Trump said, “"I once asked, 'If you're innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?' Now I know the answer to that question." "When your family, your company and all the people in your orbit have become the targets of an unfounded, politically motivated Witch Hunt supported by lawyers, prosecutors and the Fake News Media, you have no choice," Trump added. "Accordingly, under the advice of my counsel and for all of the above reasons, I declined to answer the questions under the rights and privileges afforded to every citizen under the United States Constitution," Trump concluded.

So, he moves the goal posts once again and completely flip-flops on what he had said for years.

You can expect that Sean Hannity and the others at Fox News will not call Trump out for contradicting himself.

I just wonder if it was Nancy Pelosi if Hannity, Waters and Kurtz would treat the major flip-flop the same way?

It will be one more example why cable news is a vast wasteland that cares nothing about the truth or fairness.
