When News Nation announced that they were hiring Chris Cuomo and adding him to their lineup, many were surprised.

First off, News Nation bills itself as being an unbiased down the middle news operation.

Many of those that have watched the Nexstar cable outlet say that is not the case and say that News Nation leans to the right.

The network is consulted by former Trump staffer and Fox News head Bill Shine and that in itself does not seem to signal unbias.

But, Cuomo is known as a big left-wing guy and that was clearly the case at CNN.

Of course, a real down-the-middle news operation would not have hosts on staff that are openly on either side of the political aisle.

Along with signing onto News Nation, Cuomo has also launched a new podcast, which is sort of what all former cable news hosts seem to do after being fired.

In listening to Cuomo’s latest podcast, some might wonder if this is the same guy they watched on CNN?

On CNN, Cuomo attacked Donald Trump every chance he got and it seemed when describing Trump, Cuomo’s favorite word was “bullshit.”

But, in his latest podcast, Fredo appears to support Donald Trump.

Cuomo questions the public hearings held by the House committee probing the January 6 Capitol riot, suggesting that its members leave the investigation to the Justice Department because no case for "criminality" has been presented by the evidence.

Whoa!

Is this the same Fredo from CNN?

Cuomo said that while the Capitol riot was dangerous and left people injured, he questions whether it is in the public's interest to have lawmakers rehash the details of that day.

Huh? It was a day on which a group of Trump supporters laid siege on the U.S. Capitol and tried to overturn the vote of the American people and Cuomo questions whether it is in the public's interest to have lawmakers rehash the details of that day.

It was a day that the very democracy of this country was built one was threatened. I would think any Journalist would want any and all the answers to that day as they can get.

Has Chris Cuomo emerged as a MAGA-apologist?

Is he conforming to what Bill Shine wants him to be at News Nation?

They say a leopard can’t change his spots, so time will tell.

In the meantime, Mario Cuomo might have just rolled over one more time.
