Announcement Coming Today?

Back in June, FTVLive FIRST told you that Tegna’s WKYC was going to announce that they have hired former CNN Anchor Christi Paul.

Paul signed off from CNN a month ago and said that she was headed home to Ohio, but did not say what she would be doing there.

FTVLive found out through sources that Paul was headed to WKYC and would likely be anchoring a new 4PM newscast.

We now hear that the station is this/close to announcing Paul’s hire and it could come as early as today.
