Dropping the N-Word in Des Moines

Viewers in Des Moines watching The Weather Channel didn’t expect to be hit with racist language, but they were.

When it was time for the local weather on the 8’s, this is the message that viewers were treated with.

The Weather Channel says that the racist graphic which featured the N-word was not their doing.

"This did not originate with us, and we are in the process of investigating it further," a spokesperson for the Weather Channel said.

It is likely that this was inserted by the cable company that serves the Des Moines area, which I’m hoping will have a job opening very soon.
