Marissa Hollowed worked as an Anchor at KMIZ (Columbia, MO) from 2014 to 2017 before leaving for the much bigger market of St. Louis.

But, starting in September, Hollowed is headed back to Columbia to work for KMIZ.

Hollowed says that she wants to raise her family in Columbia and she sort of takes a swipe at St. Louis while making that point. “The safety of this community is more important to me than ever. We all want to go home at night knowing the streets are safe, the trash is being picked up and the lights are going to work.  I look forward to doing my part in bringing these stories to you once again.”
