Fredo the Fireman?

It appears that fired CNN host Chris Cuomo applied to be a firefighter with a volunteer fired department out of Long Island.

The Daily Beast reported that Fredo’s application was withdrawn not long after he met with fire chiefs, according to the sources.

One source said Cuomo appeared “eager” to take on the volunteer position but reconsidered after hearing about the time commitment involved.

EHFD Chief Duane Forrester told the outlet it’s a “very time-consuming” role and includes requirements like monthly meetings and drills.

“That’s why we don’t have many celebrities,” Forrester added.
