Anchor Goes Missing, Later Found Alive
/Okay… this one is a bit of a head-scratcher….
So, WVII the Fox station in Bangor, Maine posted a story about a man that went missing and police were asking for help trying to locate him.
Thankfully the police found the man and WVII updated the story. We have posted a screenshot of the story below. But, below that we explain where this story gets more strange.
Here’s the thing, Blake Lipton works at WVII and yet the station did not mention that in their story.
It appears that Lipton works as an Assignment Editor at the station and has also anchored at WVII.
In fact, it was the WVII Station Manager that reached out to Blake’s mom to inform her that he didn’t show up for work at the station.
She posted about it on her social media and then updated the post when he was found.
If the Mayor went missing, don’t you think that the station would have said in the story that he was the mayor?
Yet, when one of their employees goes missing, there is no mention of him working at the TV station and someone that viewers have watched on TV.
Like a said, it’s a head-scratcher.
