A few FTVLive readers are weighing in on cable news.

They watch so we don’t have to.

Hey Scott,

I've noticed that Erin and Cooper have enjoyed chris's first day on the job at cnn and the editoral overnight was back to pre zucker days. But If you watch Lemon, acosta, stelter they're doubling down and I think they are trying/know that MSNBC will pick them up because their ratings are in trouble. Like with Fox News, MSNBC could hire Lemon for example and plug him into a primetime slot with ratings success because all he has to do is say dem talking points. Acosta and Lemon are actually what MSNBC needs in prime for talking heads.

Meanwhile, my dad watches shep smith on cnbc religiously and I've noticed the nights I'm visiting Shep keeps praising cnn as if he's trying to catch someone's ear. So it looks like there's going to be a big musical chairs switch with talent.

I know there are rumors that Chris Licht is going to 86 Brian Stelter, but don’t you think Oliver Darcy needs the boot as well?

I think Stelter is clearly in the pocket of the left, but Darcy is even worse.

I know Tucker Carlson is awful and I swore him off years ago. But recently I thought I should dip in and watch his show after not doing so for nearly 2 years.

My goal was to watch a week of his shows, but I only made it 2 days.

Honestly, after watching Tucker, I felt like I needed to take a shower to get the smell off of me.

What the hell are the suits at Fox News thinking?
